C. F. Martin D-28 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1974)

C. F. Martin D-28 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1974), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 341190, natural finish, rosewood back and sides, spruce top,mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, molded black plastic hard shell case.
 
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 15/16 in. (12.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Pretty clean overall except for one large (probably case-lid inflicted) scrape in the top above the bridge and some fairly typical pickwear above the soundhole. Appears all original except for a replacement tortoise-plastic pickguard (the original black acetate 'guards from this era tend to shrivel up like big potato chip) and a newer nut. Some finish touch up on the back of the neck behind the first fret but no cracks-looks like a scratch or capo mark was retouched. A very good player, nice big sound more open than many of these mid-70's Martins. Overall Excellent Condition.
