Gretsch PX-6193 Country Club Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1956)

Gretsch PX-6193 Country Club Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1956), made in Brooklyn, NY, serial # 19066, natural lacquer finish, laminated maple body, maple neck with ebony fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.
 
Overall length is 42 1/2 in. (108 cm.), 16 7/8 in. (42.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/4 in. (641 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). All original except a later B-3 Bigsby fitted. Some sections of the internal wiring needed replacement; the pickups, pots, switch, caps are all original. A recent neckset and setup make this a super player, one of the nicest 1950's Gretsches we have had. Excellent Condition.
