Gary Southwell A-Model Model Classical Guitar (1997), made in Nottingham, England, natural finish, black hard shell case.

An important modern concert guitar, the Southwell A-model is a very unusual instrument, built using elements of 19th century Viennese design as a collaborative creation of luthier Gary Southwell and renowned guitarist David Starobin. This guitar was one of Starobin's personal instruments, and was used in the recording of his Grammy nominated album "NEWDANCE" in 1998 and the US and European concert tours that followed.
 
Overall length is 37 5/8 in. (95.6 cm.), 15 5/16 in. (38.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 9/16 in. (9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 3/16 in. (640 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.). Some fingernail scratching into (but not through) the top finish and light scratching to the bridge but no damage or repair; this guitar has been professionally used but very well cared for. Excellent + Condition.
